AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Human Factors Specialist to advise and mentor personnel on Human Factors and Ergonomics work packages, ensuring compliance with nuclear industry standards. The role involves developing program plans, conducting human-system interface design, and performing usability testing and workload analysis. This position requires extensive experience in high-hazard industries, particularly nuclear, with a strong understanding of regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Advise and mentor Human Factors personnel on technical delivery and training initiatives
Develop Human Factors Engineering Program Plans and Verification and Validation plans per regulatory standards
Conduct Human Factor Function and Task analysis, usability testing, and workload analysis

Skills

Qualifications

University degree in Engineering, Human Factors (HF) & Ergonomics or Applied Psychology or related fieldProfessional Engineering license
