Hydrologist

The Alberta Geological Survey is recruiting a Hydrologist to apply advanced knowledge of physical hydrology and remote sensing for mapping groundwater-dependent ecosystems in the Athabasca and Cold Lake oil sands regions. This role involves processing multispectral and radar imagery, integrating geological data, and creating publication-quality maps within an ArcGIS environment to support the Oil Sands Monitoring Program. The position requires collaboration with interdisciplinary geoscience teams and external stakeholders to characterize groundwater conditions and predict hydrological responses to environmental changes.
