The ICU RN 1 provides direct nursing care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit, monitoring and managing complex conditions such as post-operative needs, respiratory failure, and hemodynamic instability. The role supports a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care across 1-2 patients per nurse in a 22-bed medical/surgical/cardiac ICU setting.
