About this role
The Illinois River Restoration Technician is a seasonal, full-time role supporting The Nature Conservancy’s restoration and management of wetlands, prairies, woodlands and visitor facilities near Emiquon (Lewistown), IL. The position is primarily outdoors, offers hands-on learning about ecology and natural areas management, and runs from early May through mid-August with possible extension. It is paid hourly and based at the Illinois River Project Office with occasional travel to nearby preserves.
