The Imaging Service Coordinator supports the imaging department and radiologists with administrative tasks to increase departmental efficiency, accuracy, and safety. This position acts as the liaison between radiologists and ordering providers, ensuring timely scheduling of STAT outpatient imaging exams and closed-loop communication of actionable findings. The role involves tracking and communicating radiologic findings, approving add-on imaging studies, and supporting radiologists with interdepartmental and external communication.
