Imaging Specialist I

The Imaging Specialist I provides critical quality control and support to the histology laboratory and pathologists by matching completed slides to the correct case in the Laboratory Information System (LIS), verifying slide presence and labeling, and preparing accurate cases for pathologist review. The role requires utilizing a working knowledge of histology laboratory workflow and the LIS to perform assigned tasks under low to moderate supervision. This position ensures all safety, quality control measures, and policies are followed while maintaining patient confidentiality and a clean, organized work area.
