The IMFH Perinatal Bereavement Coordinator supports the Psychosocial Support Program within the Nemours Institute for Maternal Fetal Health by providing advanced bereavement coordination and psychosocial support to families experiencing perinatal loss. Serving in both outpatient and inpatient settings, the role also functions as a Certified Child Life Specialist to provide developmentally appropriate coping support and education for children and siblings affected by complex fetal diagnoses and hospitalization. This position collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to enhance bereavement services, facilitate memory-making activities, and ensure compassionate, family-centered care throughout the perinatal journey.
