About this role

The Indigenous Engagement and Policy Research Coordinator is a research staff role in the Wasserman Laboratory at UBC’s Centre for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics supporting the Silent Genomes Project. The position focuses on advancing the Indigenous Background Variant Library through partnership with Indigenous communities and developing policy and educational resources to support genomics research under Indigenous governance. The role is campus-based at BC Children’s Hospital and funded through national genomics and training grants.
