Indigenous Student Advisor

The Indigenous Student Advisor at UBC Okanagan develops and evaluates student advising services to support the academic success and retention of undergraduate students, with a specific focus on First Nation, Métis, and Inuit communities. The role involves creating educational materials, implementing recruitment strategies, resolving complex student program issues, and advising on degree requirements and policies. This position also contributes to the administration of the office by collaborating with campus units and supervising peer advisors.
