The Infection Preventionist supports organization-wide infection surveillance, prevention, and control programs in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role involves conducting surveillance for healthcare-associated infections, analyzing data, implementing performance improvement initiatives, and educating team members and patients. This position also requires investigating outbreaks, ensuring compliance with infection prevention policies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient and team member safety.
