Infection Preventionist

The Infection Preventionist directs and coordinates the Infection Control program within the district, implementing and enforcing surveillance, prevention, and control policies. This role supports employee health functions, including reviewing new hire health records, coordinating vaccination programs, and facilitating staff training on infection prevention practices. The position requires collaboration with nursing and ancillary departments to maintain current infection prevention standards and ensure the effectiveness of control interventions.
