Information Access and Privacy Officer

The Information Access and Privacy Officer administers the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP) Act process and other information access and privacy procedures for assigned client departments. The role involves managing FOIPOP applications, representing departments during reviews by the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, and facilitating proactive disclosure. The officer provides operational advice, guidance, and training to client departments to promote a culture of openness and transparency.
