Information System Security Officer (ISSO)

The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) ensures the security posture of mission-critical applications and infrastructure across multiple classified and unclassified network enclaves. The role focuses on developing and enforcing security policies, managing ATO documentation, and ensuring compliance with FISMA, NIST, DOJ, and other federal mandates. It requires close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders to secure cloud and on-premise systems throughout their lifecycle. The ISSO also supports continuous monitoring and formal audits to maintain federal cybersecurity compliance.
