About this role

AnaVation is seeking a highly motivated Information Systems Security Engineer to support a high-visible contract by delivering cybersecurity engineering, secure software development, and DevSecOps integration across the Department of Defense. The role involves serving as an embedded cybersecurity engineer to engineer, implement, and automate security controls for mission applications and cloud services. This position supports secure capability delivery while enabling Continuous Authority to Operate, Zero Trust, and cloud-native cybersecurity initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement security controls supporting Risk Management Framework authorization and continuous monitoring
Integrate cybersecurity requirements into cloud-native applications and CI/CD pipelines
Engineer and implement Zero Trust security architectures and container hardening practices
