About this role

Leidos is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer to support the Air Force National Capital Region IT Services program by managing vulnerability scans and ensuring secure system configurations. The role involves reviewing scan results, applying Security Technical Implementations (STIGs), and coordinating remediation actions for high-priority vulnerabilities in classified and unclassified environments. This position requires acting as an expert for system administrators and engineers to maintain compliance with RMF guidance and DISA standards.

Responsibilities

Run vulnerability scans using Tenable SecurityCenter in classified and unclassified environments
Review scan results to identify potential findings and false positives
Apply Security Technical Implementations (STIGs) to meet hardening requirements
Coordinate with engineering teams to support remediation of high-priority vulnerabilities
Maintain data accuracy within ACAS for consistent reporting
