About this role

The Senior Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) will serve as the principal cybersecurity authority for one or more Department of War system authorization packages, overseeing the full RMF lifecycle from categorization through continuous monitoring. The role includes managing a team of ISSOs, coordinating with authorizing officials and assessors, and ensuring compliance with NIST and DoD security standards.

Responsibilities

Manage RMF lifecycle from categorization to continuous monitoring
Supervise and mentor ISSOs and junior compliance staff
Coordinate with Authorizing Officials, AODRs, and Security Control Assessors
Develop and maintain authorization packages in eMASS
Communicate security risk and compliance status to senior leaders
