About this role

The Information System Security Officer (ISSO) provides cybersecurity and information assurance support for classified DoD systems at Vandenberg SFB, ensuring systems remain secure, compliant, and operational across Collateral, SCI, and SAP environments. The role focuses on implementing and continuously improving cybersecurity controls per DoD, Air Force, and NIST RMF requirements and maintaining inspection and authorization readiness. The ISSO also performs COMPUSEC and TEMPEST functions and coordinates with stakeholders to sustain authorization and audit readiness.

TS/SCI Security ClearanceBachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or Related Field (or 4 years equivalent experience)DoD 8140 ISSM Intermediate (required within 6 months)
