Ingalls Shipfitter

The Ingalls Shipfitter role involves cutting, grinding, bending, and fitting raw steel to construct the shape of battle-tested ships for the U.S. Navy and U.S. Coast Guard. This position requires working with various tools and equipment during the fabrication, assembly, and erection of metal components at different stages of marine vessel construction. The role may involve working at various heights, in confined spaces, and under different weather conditions as part of a 24-hour production schedule.
