Inpatient Coder

The Inpatient Coder will review and evaluate hospital inpatient medical record documentation to assign, sequence, edit, and validate appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes. This role involves performing coding and code/DRG validation across multiple entities while applying all relevant coding guidelines and criteria. The position requires maintaining established accuracy and productivity standards while utilizing complete patient medical record documentation.
