This remote position involves reviewing inpatient medical records to accurately assign ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and DRG codes while completing required Patient Treatment File transactions. The role requires abstracting clinical data, determining billability, and maintaining high coding accuracy standards in compliance with VHA and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate will have recent inpatient coding experience and proficiency with industry-standard coding encoders.
