About this role

The Institutional Partnerships Senior Associate at Acumen will drive fundraising and partner engagement efforts focused on poverty reduction and climate investment strategies. Reporting to the Associate Director of Climate Partnerships, this role involves cultivating relationships with foundations and corporations, conducting funder research, and developing proposals and communications. The position requires a hybrid work arrangement in New York, with an expectation of being three days in the office weekly.

Responsibilities

Support cultivation and stewardship of private institutional partners
Lead research to expand the institutional funder pipeline
Draft and edit concept notes and proposals for donors
Develop external-facing materials to support fundraising efforts
Collaborate with grant management to ensure reporting compliance

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Nonprofit Management, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in fundraising, climate finance, or impact investingAuthorized to work in the United States
