Instructional Assessment, ELD Achievement Specialist

Under the direction of the Division of Multilingual Education, this role provides systemwide leadership and technical expertise to support the assessment, achievement, and educational outcomes of emergent multilingual learners. The position involves leading the development and implementation of systems for accurate identification, assessment, and reclassification of these students while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. The specialist partners with schools and central offices to analyze data, identify disparities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for instructional planning and program improvement.
