Instructional Assistant - SOAR

The Special Education Instructional Assistant supports students in the SOAR program, a regionalized initiative for students with Autism requiring specialized instruction to access curriculum and develop independence skills. The role involves assisting teachers with instructional activities, providing reinforcement to individuals or small groups, and maintaining a safe learning environment. This 10-month, non-exempt position serves students from kindergarten through high school using evidence-based practices to support academic, communication, social, adaptive, and behavioral development.
