Instructional Assistant

Under the direct supervision of a certified staff member, this role assists professional staff with students in the classroom to meet instructional goals and objectives. The position involves supporting students in various academic areas, managing classroom behavior, and facilitating inclusive learning environments for all students, including those with special needs. The role also includes assisting with record-keeping, parent contact, and non-instructional duties to support the overall educational program.
