About this role

The Bioinformatics Program at Langara College is seeking a qualified candidate to teach two micro‑credentials in Proteomics and Metabolomics Applications and Protein Engineering Applications. The role involves developing and delivering curriculum, labs, and learning activities, as well as supporting student projects and contributing to program development during a temporary, part‑time appointment from September 2026 to April 2027.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver curriculum and labs for bioinformatics micro‑credentials
Prepare and deliver course materials and instruction
Maintain office hours and consult with students
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Support student projects in biological data analysis and computational biology

Skills

Qualifications

MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Proteomics or related disciplinePhD (preferred)
