Instructor – Clinical Scholar

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a hospitalist at the Instructor level to join a 1-year intensive faculty development program focused on teaching and practicing Hospital Medicine. Participants will work part-time as faculty, attending on resident and advanced practice provider teaching services, while dedicating the remainder of their time to advancing skills in reasoning, critical appraisal, and Point-of-Care ultrasonography (POCUS). The role involves developing expertise in POCUS, building advanced clinical decision-making skills, and enhancing critical appraisal abilities through guided mentorship. Additionally, the position requires active teaching in POCUS and evidence-based medicine curriculums and producing a scholarship in a chosen area of interest by the end of the academic year.
