Instructor

Western Carolina University is seeking a nine-month, non‑tenure track Instructor to teach a 4‑4 course load in its undergraduate anthropology program. The candidate should be a broadly trained anthropological archaeologist with a regional focus on the Eastern Woodlands of North America and be able to teach both survey classes and upper‑level archaeology courses. The position is on‑site in Cullowhee, NC, with an anticipated start date of August 2026.
