About this role

An Instrumentation Technician at Lilly supports the startup and ongoing operations of a new advanced manufacturing facility for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API). The role focuses on maintaining assets in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), troubleshooting process instrumentation, and ensuring equipment availability for critical water, steam, and utility systems. Technicians will perform calibration, preventive maintenance, and repairs while collaborating with global facility delivery teams to establish greenfield manufacturing standards.

Responsibilities

Service, troubleshoot, and maintain all instrumentation assets in a GMP environment.
Perform initial calibrations, shakedowns, and equipment qualification activities.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on temperature, pressure, and flow systems.
Collaborate with global facility delivery to support startup project delivery efforts.
Monitor and troubleshoot utility systems including steam, chilled water, and compressed air.
