About this role

The Instrumentation and Control Site Engineer is responsible for the conceptual and detailed design of I&C systems for CANDU plants and other nuclear installations, including defining functional requirements, control logic, and system modifications. The role involves performing field walkdowns for troubleshooting, selecting and sizing I&C components, and preparing comprehensive engineering design documents and drawings. This position requires acting as the primary I&C technical expert, interfacing with various engineering disciplines and regulatory agencies, and providing technical support and mentorship to junior team members.

Responsibilities

Perform conceptual and detailed design of CANDU instrumentation and control systems
Troubleshoot I&C systems and resolve technical issues through field walkdowns
Develop technical specifications and design documents for I&C components

Qualifications

Honours degree in a relevant field of engineeringProfessional Engineers of Ontario (P.Eng)
