Instrumentation Technician

TRIUMF is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, install, and commission complex electronic and electromechanical systems within their particle accelerator research laboratory. The role involves performing preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, diagnosing faults in electrical and mechanical systems, and calibrating diagnostic instruments for ion sources and beam transport systems. Candidates will also be responsible for maintaining technical documentation and providing support for moderately complex technical systems.
