Insurance Coordinator

The Insurance Coordinator facilitates a positive patient experience and ensures proper billing procedures by performing insurance verification and authorization for all accounts supported by Central Registration/Scheduling. This includes inpatient admissions and other ancillary department registrations. The role involves initiating the authorization process, managing referrals, and notifying physicians as needed while maintaining strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and hospital compliance standards.
