Interim Accountant

An interim accountant is needed on a three‑month contract (with a high likelihood of extension) to provide financial management and technical accounting support for the York and North Yorkshire Combined Authority. The role involves maintaining balance sheet controls, delivering accounting services to CIPFA standards, completing VAT and other regulatory filings, supporting audit processes, and administering the Xero finance system.
