CACI is seeking an Intermediate Information System Security Officer to support FEMA's OCISO in ensuring the security and compliance of mission-critical information systems. This role involves collaborating with IT stakeholders to maintain robust security controls, manage the Authority to Operate (ATO) lifecycle, and ensure adherence to federal standards like FISMA and NIST. The position requires expertise in IT security assessments, incident response, and maintaining comprehensive security documentation within a dynamic government environment.

Responsibilities

Support designated Information System Security Managers across the Risk Management Framework lifecycle
Spearhead Authority to Operate efforts and maintain compliance with federal security directives
Conduct IT security assessments and audit preparations to ensure FISMA adherence
Investigate security incidents to determine extent of compromise to national security systems
Track vulnerabilities and maintain Plan of Action and Milestone reports for remediation
