About this role

This role involves providing engineering design, analysis, and technical support for instrumentation and control systems across energy and infrastructure projects. The engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop reliable solutions, manage instrumentation databases, and support control system integration throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires hands-on experience with Hexagon Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) and coordination of instrumentation activities from design through commissioning.

Responsibilities

Develop and review instrumentation engineering deliverables for energy and infrastructure projects
Manage instrumentation data and deliverables using Hexagon SmartPlant Instrumentation
Coordinate control system integration with DCS, PLC, and SIS platforms

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related engineering disciplineProfessional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists Alberta (APEGA)
