Intermediate Roller

This role involves performing pre-shift checks on mill conditions, tools, measuring devices, and spare parts to ensure operational readiness. The position requires monitoring roll cooling water systems, tightening guides, and reporting any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Shift In-charge. Successful completion of an 18-month preparation period with effective job handling leads to promotion to Senior Intermediate Roller.
