The Intermediate/Senior Planner reports to the Manager of Community Planning and is responsible for project managing and reviewing mid to large scale development applications, including Official Plan and Zoning By-law amendments. The role involves conducting research, preparing Staff Reports, and providing input on policy projects while maintaining effective liaison with developers, the public, and various agencies. This position requires strong analytical and communication skills to facilitate conflict resolution and support economic development initiatives within the municipality.
