About this role
A Translational Medicine Biomarkers Intern at AskBio supports assay development and biomarker discovery for preclinical and clinical gene therapy programs, working primarily in the wet lab with flow cytometry and ligand-binding platforms. The role includes researching surrogate biomarkers and the FDA Accelerated Approval pathway and culminates in a formal presentation of a biomarker strategy. It is designed to train undergraduates pursuing graduate study or industrial research careers and reports to the Principal Scientist, Flow Cytometry & Biomarker Data Analysis.
