The CPS Energy Energy Equity Intern supports the development and implementation of the company's Energy Equity process through process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder communication. This role involves mapping workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and preparing findings for leadership within a professional utility environment. Interns must be currently enrolled in a related discipline, reside in the San Antonio area, and participate in a 40-hour weekly schedule.

Responsibilities

Map current-state workflows using swim-lane diagrams and flowcharts
Identify process redundancies, delays, and unclear ownership
Prepare concise summaries of findings for leadership teams
Facilitate brainstorming sessions to explore process solutions
Support the design and implementation of the Energy Equity program

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a college programMinimum 2.5 GPAPreferred: Engineering, Business Management, IT, or Mathematics degreePreferred: Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
