Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) is the provincial regulator for the practice of engineering and geoscience in British Columbia, tasked with protecting public safety by licensing and overseeing professionals. It registers qualified engineers and geoscientists, maintains a public register, and sets standards of practice, ethics, and accreditation requirements. EGBC enforces compliance through complaints and discipline processes, and supports members with professional development requirements, practice guidelines, and resources.
