Intern

The Intern performs specific student nursing tasks to meet clinical objectives in delivering patient care under the direction and supervision of a designated Registered Nurse preceptor. This role requires demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. The position is part of a collaborative academic-employer partnership and does not impact staffing levels.
