The role focuses on conducting independent audit reviews, monitoring risk based on control effectiveness, and engaging with senior stakeholders to drive remediation. Essential responsibilities include designing control testing programs, reporting findings to governance committees, and maintaining a risk-based view of the operational control environment.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute independent operational control reviews across data center processes
Design and conduct control testing programs to assess design and operational effectiveness
Document findings with root cause analysis and risk ratings for senior management
Track remediation actions through to verified closure and report on status
Engage stakeholders at all levels to challenge findings and agree on timelines
