Internal Controls Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of internal control framework
• Drive internal controls strategy for operational finance, reporting, and balance sheet integrity
• Conduct comprehensive reviews of financial processes to identify and address control gaps
• Oversee governance of balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy and completeness
• Review and enforce controls around balance sheet accounts
• Perform risk assessments and maintain risk and control matrices
• Design and implement preventive, detective, and automated controls
• Address control deficiencies through root cause analysis and remediation plans
• Serve as internal controls subject matter expert and liaison for initiatives
• Establish governance routines for control monitoring and reporting
• Promote standardization of policies and control documentation
• Identify opportunities for control automation and optimization
• Ensure audit readiness through high-quality documentation and testing processes
• Develop and present internal control reports to senior leadership
