About this role

An IT Internal Auditor at Slate supports the internal audit function by evaluating IT general controls, assessing cybersecurity risks, and ensuring the integrity of systems and data in alignment with Slate Auto’s commitment to operational excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute risk-based IT audits covering areas such as cybersecurity, infrastructure, system implementations, access management, and data governance
Support SOX compliance efforts by assessing IT controls over financial reporting
Prepare clear and concise audit reports summarizing findings, risk implications, and recommended corrective actions
Track and monitor the status of open audit findings, engaging with process owners to validate timely and effective remediation
Partner with IT, Finance, Operations, and Compliance teams to build strong working relationships

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, or related fieldProfessional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent credentials
