Intern/Co-op - Refining Electrical Engineering (Summer 2026)

Marathon Petroleum is hiring an Electrical Engineering intern/co-op to work in a refinery environment, gaining exposure to industry codes and best practices while learning how engineering disciplines collaborate in plant operations. The role is structured to provide broad refinery experience through rotations or assignments in different refinery areas, with opportunities to develop professional communication and presentation skills. Interns/co-ops may be placed in E&I project engineering, reliability E&I, or process control/technical service tracks.
