About this role

This internship position focuses on continuous improvement transformational projects within the manufacturing environment of an aerospace engine manufacturer. Interns will support the continuous improvement team by implementing advanced technologies, developing new business cases, and creating CAD drawings for equipment layout. The role offers hands-on experience in lean manufacturing and project management under the guidance of technical teams.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and implement new advanced technology solutions for manufacturing
Develop business cases and select technologies for capital equipment
Create CAD drawings for layout of new and relocated equipment
Communicate designs and offer guidance to outside vendors
Evaluate and implement closed door technology strategies
