The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is a global humanitarian organization that responds to the world’s worst crises, helping people survive and rebuild their lives. It delivers lifesaving care and life-changing assistance to refugees and communities affected by war and disaster, including emergency relief, healthcare, clean water, food, education, and livelihoods support. Working in crisis zones and through resettlement and recovery programs, the IRC partners with local communities and donors to provide rapid relief and long-term resilience. The IRC relies on the support of individuals and organizations to extend its impact worldwide.
