Interpreter

Under general supervision, this role performs a wide variety of language interpretation activities on an assigned and as-needed basis for the Superior Courts of California and various parties to proceedings. The position involves consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of courtroom proceedings, sight translation of documents, and providing interpreting services for judges, attorneys, court staff, and the public. The interpreter must maintain accuracy, impartiality, and confidentiality while adhering to professional ethics and court standards.
