Interpreter

The Interpreter provides interpretation and communication support to Gaston County Schools staff, facilitating effective communication with families who have limited English proficiency, particularly those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This role supports the McKinney-Vento identification and eligibility process, enrollment, school visits, home visits, and other family interactions. The position also assists families with accessing educational resources and utilizing technology for learning platforms.
