The Interventional Radiology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) delivers comprehensive care for patients undergoing diagnostic and image‑guided procedures, supporting both inpatient and outpatient settings. Working under the supervision of radiologists, the role performs evaluations, assists with procedures, manages vascular access, and coordinates post‑procedure care while contributing to workflow efficiency and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

Perform history and physical examinations and pre‑procedure evaluations
Conduct and assist with image‑guided procedures such as biopsies and thoracentesis
Place and manage vascular access devices including PICC lines and central venous catheters
Coordinate post‑procedure care and follow‑up monitoring
Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and technologists to optimize workflow
