About this role

The Inventory Accounting Manager at Away is responsible for managing monthly close activities related to inventory, including reconciliation of general ledgers and subledgers, as well as goods in transit and COGS analysis. This role requires collaboration with operations to maintain standard costs for all products, oversee landed costs, and align processes for inventory counts. The manager will also analyze inventory aging reports, maintain reserves, assist with audits, and seek opportunities for process improvement and automation in the accounting function.
